Regardless of the drought conditions being experienced in our region, proper drainage remains a critical element in providing a thriving landscape as well as protection to your home. At Sweeney Gardens this is priority one on any project.
Fall and Winter Planting
As much as we all get excited when spring arrives, cooler months are the ideal time to plant. The reason being, although the air may be cooler, the soil remains warm in our southern climate. WIth this in mind, a root system continues to grow without competing with upper plant growth which in cooler temperatures stays relatively dormat.
